Tony Robbins starts his morning with a daily ritual of breathing and priming. He does 3 sets of 30 breaths in a yoga-style breathing pattern called "Breath of Fire" to get into a positive mental and emotional state. He then spends 10 minutes on priming, including three minutes of focusing on experiences to feel grateful for, three minutes of imagining energy in him and sending a prayer or blessing, and four minutes visualizing a successful day ahead. The goal is to overcome negative emotions like anger and fear through gratitude and positivity.

Questions to ask when weaving a narrative

This chapter teaches us how our emotion triggers. Feelings are created when external stimuli are interpreted and assigned a meaning. This happens quickly and often without our awareness. The meaning we assign to a stimulus generates an emotion, which in turn generates our reaction. Understanding that our emotions come from the meaning we make of thoughts or external input allows us to change our thoughts and choose better responses. This cycle happens millions of times every day and the tricky part is that we are usually only aware of the first stimulus and the emotion, the meaning is typically out of our awareness. The real author of our feelings is not the other person but the meaning we make out of whatever caught our attention.

Our engine comprises of a few part. Body is a components like motherboard, brain is like a hard drives, neurons are like cables, and mind is a pattern of nerve connections in your brain…..
